About the Shibaura N843
The Shibaura N843 is a 3-cylinder diesel engine with a bore of 84 mm and a stroke of 90 mm (about 1.5 litres), commonly used in ride-on and commercial mowers, compact tractors, utility vehicles and small construction equipment. The same engine is sold as the Perkins 403D-15. DieselWorks has rebuilt more than 10 N843 engines in our Loganholme workshop, so we know this engine well.
Our exchange N843 is supplied as a long-bare engine, rebuilt in-house and backed by a 12-month return-to-base warranty. The exchange price assumes your old engine (the core) is returned in rebuildable condition; a core charge may apply if major parts such as the block, crankshaft or head are beyond repair.
