About the Yanmar TK486E
The Yanmar TK486E is a 4-cylinder diesel engine with a bore of 86 mm and a stroke of 90 mm (about 2.1 litres), commonly used in Thermo King transport refrigeration units. It is a Yanmar 4TNE86 built for Thermo King. DieselWorks has rebuilt a number of TK486E engines in our Loganholme workshop.
Our exchange TK486E is supplied as a long-bare engine, rebuilt in-house and backed by a 12-month return-to-base warranty. The exchange price assumes your old engine (the core) is returned in rebuildable condition; a core charge may apply if major parts such as the block, crankshaft or head are beyond repair.
